I m using an original n64 controller which the analog stick has already been worn in over the years so it is looser than normal but it s still too stiff for me.
Gamecube players may benefit from using an n64 console adapter with this adapter online for the correct input gate and to not have to assign buttons.
I ve been tempted to acquire a sealed in box n64 controller in order to replicate the stick assembly in steel or tungsten carbide.
Im sure people can find suitable replacements.
Also folks if you shell out the cash for a new oem controller dont forget to lube the thumbstick with ceramic grease.
